Decisions of daily life

It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen. John Wooden
Everyday, from the moment we get out of bed to the very moment we get back to sleep, we face hundreds if not thousands of micro-decisions. These decisions sometimes seem to weigh little and sometimes more but if we examine our daily decisions and choices thoroughly, we will come to a conclusion that our whole life is a consequence of these choices.
A small decision to wait a little longer for a cup of tea might save you from an accident or a decision to stop by to have an ice cream might save you a friendship of life time or a very small decision to let someone pass first in a traffic jam might change their lives in unimaginable ways. To be honest, most of us are completely unaware of how powerful our actions can be and these actions are actually consequence of small decisions.
I have observed that most of the time we are so focused on a few bigger decisions that we miss the opportunity to take advantage of relatively smaller events of our daily life. It is so true in our family relationships as well. Obviously, no one can control every decision we make but we can give our focus a little more on smaller decisions and choices especially if they are about things that matter to us.
