Every student was doing the task i ask them to do. Its bi-election tomorrow in Punjab and because of that a huge number of teachers are occupied (Oh, i forget to mention that here teacher’s responsibilities also include conducting elections). As a result, load of multiple classes fall over one teacher and i was no exception.
Everything was going just fine and atmosphere in class was good, untill a boy smashed the door open and came in. At first, there was pin drop silence but the moment i asked him to have a seat, the whole class went upset.
I controlled the class and started thinking about “what just happened?”
Everything was going fine according to the order until someone tried otherwise. One person started a ripple in the pool and every fish decided unconsciously to follow.
Our institute is in an underdeveloped area of Lahore city. Over the past few years, i have learned that it is very easy for the people with less developed thought process to start following just anything that amuse or fascinate them.
It’s a sort of a higher form of imprinting behavior, where duck hatchlings would simply follow any moving object considering it to be their mother.
Proper development of a thought process for thinking, analysis and reasoning is not quite traditional here.
