You are your work

One of my favorite quotes by “Seth Godin”.

I love this quote. It always remind me of the fact that i’m a lot more than what’s on my resume. It shows that a two page resume might be able to define a part of work i have done but it can’t explain me. Same is true for almost all of us. 

To judge someone on the basis of a resume is just like trying to judge a book by its cover. That’s simply not possible, no matter what. You can’t simply learn from the looks, whats’ written inside the book. But still thats how the world works today. Whether you are applying for an internship, scholarship or a job, you will be selected or rejected on the basis of your resume or may be a cover letter along with it. But i believe that a person’s work and his passion defines him.
